This virtual course will provide attendees with an introductory level understanding of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML), when and how it is applicable, and how to harness its potential for international safeguards.
Who should attend?
• International safeguards experts interested in collaborating with AI/ML researchers and seeking a better understanding of applicable techniques
• AI/ML researchers and data scientists who are interested in learning more about the international safeguards domain opportunities
• Programming experience is NOT required.
Participants will gain sufficient knowledge of AI/ML and international safeguards to collaborate across domains.
Participants will understand the basic approaches and applications of AI/ML.
Participants will understand the basic principles of international safeguards and the origin of international safeguards data streams.
Participants will recognize how to identify problems that can be addressed with AI/ML in the international safeguards domain.
